Thursday, April 13th: Roundtable & OA Meetings 7-8 PM We will be meeting at Lakeland University in the Laun Center Park in Lot F What is Roundtable? It is an adult meeting where ideas and resources are shared. All adults involved in Scouting are welcome and encouraged to attend. Discussion topics this month include: Flag Ceremony & Etiquette Friends of Scouting...how to reach your goals Spring Recruitment Your questions, concerns, and or ideas!

Beshkno Chapter News - OA Policy Update: All Ordeal Candidates elected this year and beyond, will have 18 months to complete the Ordeal.

WILDERNESS SURVIVAL MERIT BADGE CAMPOREE
May 5-7, 2023 Survival starts at 5 PM on May 5 and concludes on May 7 at 10 AM. JCC Rainbow Camp W3985 Trails End Rd. Fredonia, WI 53021 | |
Spring Camporee and learn how to SURVIVE with WILDERNESS SURVIVAL and earn your Wilderness Survival Merit Badge. Learn wilderness survival techniques by playing Survival Feud, pitting one patrol against another, to see who has the most survival knowledge. Learn the essential items that make up a survival kit that every Scout should have. Become skilled at starting fires without matches, how to attract attention when lost, understand the proper ways to treat water to make it drinkable, and finally build a natural shelter and spend the night in it to complete your training! The Camporee is designed so that if each Scout completes the pre-work and all activities during the weekend, they will have earned the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge. | |

BALOO: Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation

Completion of the BALOO course is required for at least ONE leader or parent in a Pack who attends any overnight programming including: Webelos campouts, family camps, museum overnighters, EAA sleepovers, Zoo campouts, etc. (Did we give you any good ideas?) The cost is $55 per adult which covers food and facilities. | |
